Thomas Wolf gave a Brownbag Session titled "How do Vocalizations Support Joint Action Coordination?" on Wednesday, 13 November at Kolingasse.

In this talk Thomas will argue that vocalizations, such as work calls and work songs, not only facilitate joint action coordination, but also that they have played an important role in early evolution of language.

About Mag.phil Thomas Wolf, MSc PhD

Thomas Wolf is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Somby Lab of the Department of Cognitive Science of the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna.


Thomas studied Musicology at the University of Vienna, Philosophy of Mind at Copenhagen University, and graduated from the MEi:CogSci program at the University of Vienna. At the CEU he is working on music paradigms in joint action research.
