Valeria will contribute to two Horizon Europe projects focusing on public perception of environmental risks. In the GOLIAT project, Valeria will investigate the impact of 5G technology on human health. Simultaneously, as part of SOS-ZEROPOL, she will explore public perceptions of threats and solutions related to environmental pollutants.
She holds a BSc in Psychological Sciences and Techniques from the University of Naples Federico II and an MSc in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Padua. Prior to joining the University of Vienna, she completed her PhD at Sapienza University of Rome, where she studied how natural spaces, and more generally environments, impact emotions and emotion regulation processes.
