This Fish VR setup was developed in a research collaboration between Kristin Tessmar-Raible and the former Viennese neuroscientist Andrew Straw. The system allows the simulation of more complex naturalistic environments while recording behavioral data, allowing researchers to observe differences in behavior that would be hard to detect otherwise.
The system, put together by loopbio, is a single unit and can be used for researching fish behavior in a VR environment. You can find out more about it here: http://loopbio.com/cs/fishvr/
If you are interested in using this system for your research, please contact Kristin Tessmar-Raible: kristin.tessmar@mfpl.ac.at
