Brownbag Session by Cliodhna Quigley: Aesthetics, AI, and Illusions in the Dovelab

Building on a rich tradition of research in ring doves, Cliodhna Quigley presented her current and future work in our Brownbag Session on 14 December.

Teaser: Cliodhna Quigley has been working with ring doves (Streptopelia risoria) in the Fusani Lab at the University of Vienna and the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna since 2017. She'll give an overview of recent work with the doves on comparative aesthetics, her hopes to expand the use of cutting-edge machine learning in her work, and a glimpse into future projects from new colleagues including the role of visual illusions.
