Head and Leadership Team

The Rectorate appoints the Head of the Vienna CogSciHub and three Deputy Heads for each funding period. In consultation with the Management Board of the Vienna CogSciHub, the Rectorate may extend each appointment for the following funding period.

The Head acts as the official Speaker of the Vienna CogSciHub. The Speaker represents the Vienna CogSciHub in all official discussions with the Rectorate (including monitoring meetings), invites new members to the Vienna CogSciHub and its Management Board, and is responsible for all strategic and operational decisions.

The Head and his/her Deputies form the Leadership Team. Each member of the Leadership Team facilitates communication between the Network Members of the Vienna CogSciHub. In consultation with the Head, the Deputies act as liaisons to other Organisational Units and Institutions within and outside the University of Vienna.
