PostDoctoral Researcher Nina Vaupotič
Nina Vaupotič works on two projects related to the public perception of risk.
In the scope of the GOLIAT project, she is investigating mental models of experts and non-experts concerning the effects of 5G technology on health.
Furthermore, she is involved in the SOS_ZEROPOL project, where she examines the views and perceptions of the public regarding sea contamination and micro-plastic pollutants.
Nina joined the Vienna Cognitive Science Hub and the Environmental Psychology team in Vienna in November 2022. Befor that, she was a doctoral student and research assistant at the University of Münster, working on topics related to trust in science, public engagement with science, and intellectual humility. Nina obtained a BA and MA degree in Psychology at the University of Ljubljana.
