The head invites network members of Vienna CogSciHub to become a member of the scientific advisory board, so that it includes all scientific disciplines present in the Hub to guarantee interdisciplinarity.

The scientific advisory board counsels the head about the development of the Hub and the planning of activities of strategic importance like the establishment of a new research focus, the invitation of new network members and the invitation of new members to the scientific advisory board.

Members of the scientific advisory board assist the leadership team in carrying out critical tasks and in the maintenance of communication in their scientific areas.

The rectorate consults the scientific advisory board before it appoints a new head and deputies.
